Winbirri's reputation for producing quality wine has their Signature range starting to be served at Michelin Restaurants around the UK. This wine uses a grape called Dornfelder - a dark skinned grape, created in 1955, by August Herold. He crossed the grape varieties Helfensteiner and Heroldrebe, the latter which bears his name, to create the variety. With 18 months ageing in American Oak barrels, and 12 months ageing in glass bottles, the result is a  bold red, bursting with rich plum and dark-berry fruits; spicy with notes of coffee and blackberries. A beautiful red from Norfolk.
